Homage to Transea
After perhaps too much time, I finally decided to pay homage to my aunt, who without her presence has been able to influence my artistic spirit since I was a child. Her most sublime painting, "Divine" (1987), inspired by a beautiful photo of Herbert List (Beneath the Poseidon Temple, 1937) was for me the symbol of her art, made with only ink and watercolors. My version tries to get close to the atmospheres of the painting and the photography, through the use of vectors and gradients, a technique that has distinguished my style for many years. I hope that many can remember her and continue to love her, a multifaceted and talented artist who passed away in her prime, but capable of leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
